At Harrison Clark we generally recruit our trainees through the paralegal system. Paralegals are recruited throughout the year, based on the needs of a department at any one time.
If successful, training contracts are generally awarded after a period of 12 months.
There is, therefore, no cut off period for new trainees to be appointed for any particular year, although such appointments will only take place twice a year in September and March.
Our new system focuses very much on either a "Business" or "Private Client" seat rotation. These consist of potential seats as follows:
Business: Commercial Property, Commercial Litigation, Corporate, Commercial, Employment and Litigation/Insolvency.
Private Client: Probate, Family, Personal Injury and Residential Conveyancing.
When submitting your application, you should indicate the following:
1. That you wish to be considered for a paralegal position, leading to a training contract.
2. Whether you wish to be considered for a Business or Private Client seat rotation.
3. Whether you have any relevant experience in, or strong feelings about, the field you may ultimately wish to work in.
We invite you to contact one of our paralegals, who have since become trainees, to hear first hand what a Harrison Clark training contract is like. None of this communication is censored, so please feel free to ask:
Business Rotation: Ed Jones - ejones@harrison-clark.co.uk
Private Client Rotation: Anita Hennessey - ahennessey@harrison-clark.co.uk
Please apply with a covering letter and detailed C.V. to Mrs Nikki Powell, either via email (as above), or in writing to Harrison Clark LLP, 5 Deansway, Worcester WR1 2JG.
