Insolvency

Our insolvency team is able to deal with the whole range of issues that can arise when insolvency occurs and is able to deal with them quickly, efficiently and in a cost-effective manner.

Our Work:

We have a great deal of expertise in corporate insolvency situations and are happy to assist with all issues including those arising in administrations, receiverships, liquidations and company voluntary arrangements.

We also provide advice and assistance with issues which arise outside or prior to such formal procedures.

We assist with issues facing directors of companies which are in financial difficulties, such as personal guarantees, wrongful trading, disqualification proceedings and unlawful transactions.

Our expertise also includes a strong element of personal insolvency matters and we will deal with all issues arising in bankruptcy, or in trying to avoid bankruptcy, for example by an individual voluntary arrangement.

Our Clients

We act for Insolvency Practitioners during their periods as office holders and also provide them with more general advice and assistance.

We can often work on a conditional fee or other flexible basis. We provide advice to banks and other debenture/charge holders in connection with the protection and realisation of their security and other issues they may face.

We also act for and assist companies or individuals who are facing the problems arising from debts they owe and other factors and we are able to advise on possible long-term or short-term solutions to such problems, both within formal insolvency proceedings and outside these. In addition we will assist with advice on how to avoid a terminal situation such as a bankruptcy or a liquidation.

Our clients include a large range of individuals, local authorities, firms and companies who are owed money. We can provide advice on a full range of options which will include the usual debt recovery methods, together with statutory demands and bankruptcy or winding up petitions.
