Ladies flock to Harrison Clark's annual charity event
County law firm, Harrison Clark, invited local business women to join them for an evening of fashion, food, fine jewellery and pampering - in aid of local charity Noah's Ark Trust and the firm's own Charitable Trust.
Held at Worcestershire County Cricket Club, around 100 ladies were treated to demonstrations from the Eckington Manor Cookery School's head chef, pampering treats from Malvern Spa and a fashion show from swimwear and lingerie boutique, Barbarella.
Alison Scott, Senior Associate in Harrison Clark's corporate department, comments: "The Harrison Clark annual ladies corporate evening is held to say thank you to our clients and contacts, and offers an informal evening of networking and socialising in a great location. This is the 5th year that Harrison Clark has run this event.
"As well as the cookery demonstration, pampering treats and fashion show, local retailers Rock Lobster and Skinny Dip were also on hand to showcase their fantastic products."
Generous guests raised over £760 - just over 50% of the proceeds will go to the Noah's Ark Trust, with the remaining money being donated to Harrison Clark's Charitable Trust.
Harrison Clark, which has offices in the heart of both Worcester and Cheltenham, established its Charitable Trust in 2007 and raises around £25,000 each year through individual donations and events such as the Ladies Event, annual charity quiz, golf day and charity ball organised by staff at the firm.
With legal experts across every area of law Harrison Clark is one of the largest firms of solicitors in the region, and in 2009 was again recognised for the national quality of its work through a listing in the prestigious Legal 500 and Chamber and Partners lists of the major firms in England and Wales. The firm is also one of only eight UK-based members of MSI, an international legal and accountancy network, enabling it to handle global and cross-border cases.
