Richard joined the firm as a Partner to head up its Employment Department in January 2003. He was previously Employment Partner at George Green in the Black Country.

Richard specialises in all aspects of employment law both contentious and non-contentious advising principally employers on matters ranging from their contracts of employment and HR policies to representing them in the Employment Tribunals and the courts.

He is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association and regularly appears in Employment Tribunals throughout the country.
