Claire Thompson Employment

Claire joined our Employment Department as an Associate in September 2007. She was previously employed as an Associate with Browne Jacobson and a Senior Solicitor with Hammonds, both in Birmingham.

Claire advises on a wide range of contentious and non-contentious employment issues and is building further on her past experience as a pensions specialist at Hammonds Claire regularly appears for clients as an advocate before the employment tribunals.

Advising private and public sector employers, Claire's experience includes large-scale business reorganisations and redundancies; the implications of TUPE in business sales and acquisitions; outsourcing arrangements; executive severances; restrictive covenants; disciplinary and grievance disputes; discrimination; contract and policy drafting.
