Robert heads the Commercial Department which offers a range of non transactional services including commercial agreements, contracts and terms and conditions. The Department also deals with intellectual property and information technology as well as acting for partnerships and partners. Robert himself specialises in commercial contracts and partnership work having acted for professional partnerships and doctors’ practices in particular for over 12 years.

In the 2010 edition of Chambers and Partners Legal Directory, Robert is recognised for his partner led service and "great energy, involvement, knowledge, availability and tactical awareness", much to the benefit of his clients.

Robert is also Company Secretary at Hereford Futures (formerly ESG Herefordshire) and a Governor at Malvern St James. Previously he was also a non-executive director at the Heart of England Tourist Board.
