Start-Up Businesses

Our start-ups team can assist you with everything you need to set up your business and will offer full ongoing support once your business is launched.

Why Harrison Clark?

We advise on the legal aspects of starting a business and we do it in a way that takes into account the initial practicalities and thought process required to start up a business.  Our ongoing focus is to provide consultation, direction and support to clients.

Our Services

For those who want to take the next step and start a business, we offer a variety of fixed-cost packages, including incorporating a business and drafting key documents. Following incorporation, we offer ongoing support and have a full business services department on hand to assist.

The Forces

We regularly advise ex-members of the police and armed forces who wish to pursue their own business interests and we have developed workshops to assist with this process.  The firm has many clients who are ex-forces and have started up their own business, so we fully appreciate what is required and the thought processes that are involved.

The start-ups team has presented and run the workshops at pre-retirement courses held by major police forces in the region.

If you would like to discuss our start-up business workshop, or if you have a query in relation to starting a business or the production of bespoke documents, please contact us on 0800 072 5324 to talk to one of our start-up business advisors, or email us at startups@harrison-clark.co.uk.

Our initial advice on your business or business ideas is free and on a no-obligation basis.

(Please select the documents you are interested in then scroll to the bottom of the page to complete your contact details and click submit)

Standard Terms and Conditions of Supply £500

Your Terms and Conditions of Supply will form the backbone of all transactions and sales between you and your customer. An effectively drafted set of Terms and Conditions of Supply will clearly detail your obligations to your customer, payment terms, liability, and performance levels, amongst other things.

Alongside your Terms and Conditions of Supply, which can be drafted to cover supply of goods, services or a combination of both, we will also send you an advice sheet offering advice on the contents of the document, as well as guidance on its use.

Website Terms and Conditions £400

If you operate a website for your business, whether or not you sell your products from it, it is essential to have a good set of terms and conditions detailing how visitors can use the information contained on it, and to also protect you or your business from any potential liability that may arise from visitors' use of the site. Our Website Terms and Conditions offer the protection that small businesses require when operating a website.

Privacy Policy £300

If through your website you receive any personal information, for example; names, addresses, email addresses and phone numbers, you must have a privacy policy that details how you will store and handle this information in accordance with the Data Protection Act. Our Privacy Policy offers a clear explanation to the website user as to how their information will be used, and is fully up to date to cover recent case law in relation to data protection. Alongside the Privacy Policy, we shall also send to you an advice sheet detailing the contents of the policy, as well as guidance on the requirements under the Data Protection Act.

Non Disclosure (Confidentiality) Agreement £250

A Non Disclosure Agreement is vital where businesses share information with one another. It allows each party to be confident that when sharing confidential information, it will remain so, thus protecting valuable ideas and trade secrets. Where your business relies on sharing information, or developing new products, a confidentiality agreement is a must.

Our Non Disclosure Agreement is reciprocal, in that it requires confidentiality from both parties, and included with it is our confidentiality advice note, offering guidance on how to protect your ideas and how to use the Non Disclosure Agreement.
